Negerhosen2000 is a project spanning various forms and materials
The artist in German Lederhosen constructed of leather resembling caucasian skin and blond hair, was initially deployed as an art-action in multiple European cities.
A photographic record/documentation was collected and assembled from the public and incorporated into art-works in the form of private and public art installations, limited edition C-Prints, beer coasters.
These images were redeployed in everyday venues such as city squares, bars, restaurants, cafes, beer-gardens , galleries and museums.

  3. Negerhosen2000 / Beer-coaster No.1, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe version

    2001, Letterpress printing on die-cut board 106mm x 106mm round
    A bear coaster created to be distributed and used in public and private venues. The text is taken from Goethe's epic work "Faust" with the Devil's declaration :"Normally man assumes that when he hears Words, that the words must also have Meaning"

  4. Negerhosen2000 / Beer-coaster No.2, Walter Benjamin version

    2004, offset printing on die-cut board 106mm x 106mm round
    A bear coaster created to be distributed and used in public and private venues. The text is taken from Walter Benjamin's seminal work "Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction" on the theme of Authenticity :"Normally man assumes that when he hears Words, that the words must also have Meaning"
